Free Evangelism Classes

Are you interested in a step by step approach to being able to share your faith in Christ Jesus with an unsaved loved one or friend?  Chris and Shana Taylor (founders of Santa Cruz Christian Ministries, Inc.), are available to teach you, your small growth group, or the members of your church how to effectively share their faith in Christ Jesus.

Our course centers around “on the job training”.  On the job training is the most effective way to learn how to share your faith in Christ Jesus.  After some brief classroom training, we take students out into the field.  This almost always entails door to door evangelism.  To anyone who has never gone “door knocking”, this most likely sounds very scary and very intrusive.  However, once you try it you’ll discover door to door evangelism is actually a lot of fun, and the folks we meet along the way are almost always extremely nice to us.

Our approach to door to door evangelism is very low key, and we always leave graciously.  We rely on and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us to the one He wants us to deliver His message to.  On a typical day or evening out in the field, we may knock on three doors where the occupants politely tell us they’re not interested (e.g., they say they’re in the middle of dinner and don’t have time to talk with us, or something like that), and we politely leave and go on to the next door.  Then, on the fourth door we knock on, we are taken aback by the power of God at work.  It’s as if the person was expecting us.  They eagerly listen to our Good News message and warmly take it all in.  When you see God’s power acted out in this way you’ll understand why we say “evangelism is caught, not taught”.  Seeing and feeling God work through you is awesome.  You’ll want more and more, we guarantee it.  There’s simply nothing like “front line evangelism”!

We offer our free evangelism classes to all Christians in Santa Cruz County.  If you can put together a group of at least 6 committed individual Christians that are willing to go out into the field, contact us and we’ll gladly arrange to teach you how to share your faith in Christ Jesus.
